STATEMENT

We would like to solemnly express the gratitude we have for the people that have stood by Daniel's side. In a sad turn of events, the stabber's family is fabricating stories to try and damage Daniel's image. We have strictly refrained from posting anything that may deter from the open investigation that is currently happening. This is a conscious decision as we give respect to the investigation. Below are the facts that dispel the unfortunate rumors that are being circulated.

1) The charges are still PENDING. Daniel has not been charged because it is still an open investigation. We are thankful for this as the truth will come to light.

2) Daniel has NOT BEEN CONVICTED because this is an open investigation.

3) In any case with a serious charge as this, ANY CIVILIAN would automatically be held without bail in San Joaquin county. These are not special circumstances. This does not reflect on Daniel's judgement or his character. This is a law all civilians must abide by.

4) The victims that the stabber tried to kill have come to the site to SHARE THEIR STORY speaking out in support of Daniel. They are all his witnesses and on his side. They have openly shared images of their wounds in the Testimonials page. We deeply thank them for their words and bravery.

5) Daniel has NO CRIMINAL RECORD. He has never been convicted in the past or present for any crime. He has never been incarcerated. He has never been to prison.

6) The stabber was just released from prison before he took action to murder the 2 innocent victims before DANIEL SAVED THEM.

7) The rumors refer to a video. In this video, the stabber has no injuries as described by the rumors. This is all fabrication to destroy Daniel's image.

I am Daniel’s cousin. He has children, a job that he is proud of and he has stability.

We as a family are staying true to our values and only stating facts. We will not fabricate anything and we will not try to create secondhand stories of what we would like to have happened. We are protecting both parties character out of respect of the situation.
